Thigh lipectomy

Is the technical term. Home and resting comfortably on what will forever be known as the convalescing couch. Already used the urinal and for once hoping I don't have to poop! Atleast until Friday when the drains come out. I see the doc then as he is heading out of town for holiday weekend. He's got a speaking engagement somwheres. Everyone really like him, mom, M and twin sis were all there when he came out to talk to them. I understand he took more tissue than planned, fine by me. I'm so curious!
So besides the sitting part, physically I think this recovery will be less painful, but more awkward. Hard to tell but I just got up and walked around, so far so good. Oh and that female urinal is where it's at!

I hope the following true story will amuse you. Last night I dreamed I visited Boston and ran into you and your mom at a historical building, and you gave me a magic weight-loss seed to hold whenever I feel discouraged. LOL. (Yes, my real life is quite boring.) Now, this morning when I weighed, my 3 week plateau was finally over...2 lbs down. Um, thank you?

Take care and get well!

Wishing you a quick and healthy recovery! I finally booked my surgery for July. I know what you mean about the mental anguish, weird dreams, and for me panic attacks every now and then. Best wishes!

Hey Beckett! If you have any questions feel free to email me. sarah.jean at gmail dot com. I didn't really know what to expect and there aren't a whole lot of people who actually do this...

And Robin, what a great dream. :c) Glad to hear that you worked through the plateau. They are the worst part of weight loss I think. I like to think of them as mini maintenance periods.
