I'm still baffled and bullshit about the Synvisc fail this week.  Doc was charming as always but for some reason it had to be him to inform me that the shot I wanted isn't given in that office.

I took the news pretty well I think.  Didn't say much actually, too exhausted and too overwhelmed.  Rescheduled for the 11th of November.

In case it's not apparent I schedule my life around pain.

Sorry to hear about the Synvisc reschedule. Ugh. Pain is such a pain. I wish FDA would approve Synvisc for CMC joints (basal joints). I need CMC joints in both hands removed and rebuilt (using tendon graft.) Soon, before deformity worsens. So much can go wrong. As you know. But living without use of hands and in constant pain and unable to work does not work for me. Can't even write my poetry unless I dictate it. Sigh. Sorry to vent all over your lovely blog. :( Somehow I think you'll forgive. :)

In much better news: weight is down to about 200 lbs (was over 310a couple years ago, & was 285 just 9 months ago when I discovered your blog.) I feel like a new woman.

Hope your week is spectacular. :)

Thanks Robin. I'm still a bit speechless over what happened? I'm not your typical patient. Whatever. Thinking very heavily on starting new blog, more healthcare less weight. Going through school has me sorting things out. So many things to think about! I wish I had more time.

I'm so glad to hear that you are still moving along. I know what you mean about feeling like a new woman. I'm still me, but this version, I prefer. I'll admit it, I like it when people believe in being reasonable. :) What ever changes you make, they must make you happy. Happy enough to feel like a new person even!

You will not miss the 200's I suspect. :) Thrilled for you!
