So I made an appointment. He's booking all the way to the end of March for consults, but I feel positive about this. The first interaction with the office staff was pleasant even if she asked me if I had had bypass. We all use different tools.
I told M, he asked, "What for?" Not sure if that is denial, cluelessness or thoughtlessness. I don't care, it was a huge step to make that call.

It is a huge step and I see it as more of a decision you have to make for yourself. It is your body and you want to feel good about it.
It's interesting that they asked if you had a bypass...like people don't lose weight without surgery? Interesting....
Good luck!
I would like to have surgery some day, maybe - if I could afford it. Guess it depends on how bad the skin bothers me LOL!
The woman who answered the phone asked me what procedure I was interested in. I said a thigh lift, which is really my motivator, but the tummy will have to happen first I think.
Somedays it bothers me more than others, but it's a mental thing too. The constant reminder is hard to live with. At 32 I feel like I have the rest of my life in front of me and the extra is literally and figuratively weighing me down.
So your appointment is for a tummy tuck? I highly recommend it. My tums not perfect but oh how freeing it is not wear tummy suckin in undies!
It's the thigh lift that I am really interested in--- but the lower body lift will be a step in the process. I hear ya about the suckin undies, except in my family we have always called them suckme undies. LoL.
