Over a week ago my knee popped. Haven't been able to go upstairs since. Always something. Finally made the appointment to see my Ortho on the 19th. It's been 2 1/2 years since last look.
In other news I'm down to 154. ONE FIFTY FOUR. I have arrived squarely on the other side of my wardrobe. Everything is too big. It's an okay problem to have, this is uncharted territory for me!!!

Hope the knee is ok. Way to go on the continued trek down the scale, wish I was following you. You still working with the trainer?
I don't usually read blogs from my reader, but today I did or I would not have known you were back in blog world..As a fellow Oa sufferer, wt loser-255 from 345, I thought I'd stick my 2 cents in. I found that losing wt helps with the pain but you still have the damage. Pain and stiffness seems to show up in odd places and for no reason. I fell a couple of months-tripped over the dogs and now I have arthritis pain in my fingers that shows up randomly for a few days and then goes away. WTF?
I find that water aerobics does help. The more I do the less pain I have and the more mobility. The less I do the more pain I have.
bottom line=seek traditional medical but find your own truth and regimen. What works for one of us might not work for others and traditional medicine doesn't get that. I've been told citrus foods can aggravate arthritis pain and I've tested it with myself and there seems somem truth behind it. I use glucosamine chondroiting and fish oil daily, and when I've tried to go without it things get worse. I've also used random things like reiki, massage, chiropractic. They all work , but I only use those tings when things are really bad.
Sorry, I can spell but I'm a fast typist
I really hope your knee is ok. I know you've been having issues for awhile!
Dear Sarah. This is the first time i have read your blog, you have come amazingly far in your journey. I have not read it all, so I am not sure what your eating plan is like. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what you eat in a day? Also have you considered dropping all wheat (in all forms) from your diet? This may help with the arthritus?
